Trash City Entertainment Announces Horror Icons Sid Haig, Barbara Crampton, Stuart Gordon & Jeffrey Combs confirmed appearance at premiere of Evil Bong 3D: The Wrath of Bong in Selected Cities

    SCOTTSDALE, AZ, April 07, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Horror Film Icons Sid Haig, Stuart Gordon, Barbara Crampton and Jeffrey Combs have been confirmed as special celebrity guests at the premiere of Charles Band's film in selected cities.

Gearing up towards his theatrical release, Charles Band, as always, goes over the top with a premier scheduled to release in several cities nationwide in 3-D and Sniff-o-Rama. Evil Bong 3-D promises to be not just any movie screening, it is going to be a full event, including celebrity appearances in each city, interactive contests with audience participation and prizes awarded and, of course, Charles Band himself performing his Horror Road Show before each screening. Starting in Chicago on April 9th, then premiering in Tempe Arizona on April 16th and nationwide on 4/20.

Sid Haig is known for his horror characters roles as Captain Spaulding in Rob Zombie's horror films House of 1000 Corpses and The Devil's Rejects. He has appeared in many television programs including Batman, Star Trek, Mission: Impossible, Gunsmoke, The Rockford Files, Buck Rogers in the 25th Century, Fantasy Island, Sledge Hammer!, The A-Team, The Fall Guy, and MacGyver.


Barbara Crampton achieved her greatest enduring cult popularity as sweet college coed "Megan Halsey" in 'Stuart Gordon''s terrific Re-Animator (1985). She gave an excellent performance as the ambitious, but prim and repressed "Dr. Katherine McMichaels" in the equally fine From Beyond (1986). Crampton was quite engaging as the perky "Suzie Lynn" in the fun Chopping Mall (1986) and typically solid as the unhappy "Susan Reilly" in Castle Freak (1995).

Stuart Gordon is a creative horror film director who started his directing career in 1985. He joined with Charles Band and his Empire Pictures to make the company's first big hit, Re-Animator (1985), a modern-day version of the H.P. Lovecraft story with Jeffrey Combs in the lead role.

As a horror film leading actor, Jeffrey Combs is probably best known for portraying Herbert West in the cult horror film Re-Animator (1985). Re-Animator was based on H.P. Lovecraft's famous novel. Combs stayed in the realm of cult films to return when making From Beyond (1986), and Bride of Re-Animator (1990) also from Lovecraft novels. He has also been in some supporting roles in Pit and the Pendulum and the strange FBI Agent with Michael J. Fox in The Frighteners (1996).

It's been many years since one of Band's films has opened in a theater and this time it's a complete carnival of an event with a film premiere, celebrity appearances at each city and the Full Moon Horror Road with Charles Band hosting it. His history as a film maker is amazing.

His filmmaking career spans 300+ films including "Puppetmaster", "Troll" - (The ORIGINAL Harry Potter!), "Oblivion" - (again, the ORIGINAL Cowboys & Aliens!), "Parasite", "Dollman" and too many more to mention.

His premiere of Evil Bong 3D and Sniff-o-Rama is screening in 7 cities starting April 9th in Chicago, then Tempe, Arizona on April 16th, and moving on to other cities. We are proud to be one of the premiere cities showing the film prior to its release date of 4/20.
