Plastic Surgery Practice in Idaho Celebrates 3-Year Anniversary

    IDAHO FALLS, ID, April 09, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- For the last 3 years, Dr. Mark Freeman (www.drmarkfreeman.com) has been serving the cosmetic needs of men and women in Idaho Falls, Jackson Hole and surrounding communities. A board-certified plastic surgeon, Dr. Freeman has been educated and trained internationally, but chose to make his home and build his practice in the Northwest. He's sharing his gratitude with the people who have chosen his plastic surgery practice in Idaho and recommended him to their friends over the past few years.

"I'm very passionate about helping people through medicine, so I was determined to get the best education and training possible," says Dr. Freeman. "It meant I needed to spend many years in various parts of the world after I earned my MD. I learned a great deal from the diversity of those early years and the perspectives of my teachers. Still, when the time came, I was definitely ready to put down roots."

Dr. Freeman earned his medical degree at the University of Florida College of Medicine. He then completed his plastic surgery fellowship and residency at the Mayo Clinic. He chose to complete an additional advanced fellowship in facial aesthetic surgery in Australia as well as an optional fellowship in aesthetic and laser surgery with acclaimed Los Angeles plastic surgeon Dr. Grant Stevens.

"While cities like Los Angeles have a lot to offer, they never felt like 'home' to me," says Dr. Freeman. "I'm an outdoorsman, so I yearned for a place where I could enjoy hiking, fishing, biking, and skiing. I wanted to find a community where my patients would be friends and neighbors, a community where I could raise my children. I began a quest that would lead me to eastern Idaho, where plastic surgeons with advanced skills in aesthetic surgery are in demand."

After gaining valuable experience in an exclusive plastic surgery practice in Florida, Dr. Freeman came to Idaho Falls to join Dr. Catherine Durboraw.
