RALEIGH, NC, April 10, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Cranfill Sumner & Hartzog LLP attorneys Stephanie Gaston and Donna Rascoe were recently elected to positions for both the Wake County Bar Association (WCBA) and the Tenth Judicial District Bar. Gaston will serve as President of the WCBA's Young Lawyers Division for 2011, and Rascoe will serve as Tenth Judicial District Bar Councilor to the North Carolina State Bar.
Roscoe was elected to her position by WCBA members, and as part of her election, she will also serve on the Authorized Practice Committee and the Grievance Committee (Subcommittee I) of the North Carolina State Bar.
Both Gaston's and Rascoe's elections further enhance Cranfill Sumner & Hartzog's involvement in these organizations, as both lawyers have served on multiple committees there.

She has been successful in litigation before the District and Superior state courts obtaining favorable settlements for clients in many of her cases. She also was named partner at Cranfill Sumner & Hartzog recently.
Donna Rascoe has been practicing defense litigation in Raleigh since 1994, and has been with CSH since 1999. She concentrates her practice in the area of education law with a primary focus in matters dealing with special education. Rascoe also handles employment and other civil litigation matters for school districts and other public entities.
