PHUKET, THAILAND, April 15, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Running from 18th to 29th May, Perth Festival of the Arts 2011 will have something for fans of art in all varieties. Whether it's visual creations, or the work of famous composers to modern day musicians, the event features a diverse representation of art forms.
Kicking off the event will be the comedic talents of Alistair McGowan with his hilarious celebrity impressions and his own unique voices that range from the amazing to the down right silly. Fans of the ballet should also not miss the production of Romeo and Juliet which is being directed and choreographed by the legendary dance superstar Peter Schaufuss.
Art lovers can see exhibitions of works by Ronald Forbes and Matisse and there'll be plenty of classical music performances such as a visit from the Bolshoi Opera and Orchestra conducted by Alexander Lazerev.
All the concerts and performances will be held at three different sites all within Perth and these are the Perth Theatre, St John's Kirk and Perth Concert Hall. Tickets prices for each event vary and visitors are advised to confirm accommodation at a Perth hotel early as places will start to book up.
Lek Boonlert, marketing head at DirectRooms.com, commented: "With world renowned artists the city will be inundated with people trying to find rooms so booking early is highly recommended."
