BILBAO, SPAIN, April 24, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Agatha Christie's The Mousetrap is due to be performed in Bilbao in May by a Spanish cast.
There will be six shows over the four days between May 5th and 8th at the Euskalduna Conference Centre.
The hit play was adapted by the author from a radio script and has been staged in London continuously since 1952.
Now travellers can see a new version of the show performed by a group of Spanish actors that includes Paco Churruca, Flavia Scarpa and Manuel Baqueiro.
The tale starts with a number of extravagant guests staying at a Victorian boarding house, when suddenly the drama begins.
A representative from the venue said in a statement: "What until that moment is a placid house becomes a nightmare after one of the guests is murdered and Sergeant Trotter from Scotland Yard arrives and eventually transforms it into a mousetrap with his interrogations."
Attendees should be sure to follow a long-held tradition of not telling anyone the identity of the murderer after they have enjoyed the play, so as not to spoil it for others.
There will be a performance at 20:00 local time every evening, as well as shows at 22:00 on May 6th and 7th.
