First Prize is an Amazon Kindle or Barnes and Noble Nook plus 3 hours of free tutoring for any family member.

Third Prize is one hour of free tutoring for any family member.

Each essay must be 250-500 words and include the following:

- A clear thesis statement that answers why education is life's most valuable investment.
- At least 3 compelling reasons with specific examples to support your position.

The winners will be chosen based on: originality, clarity, understanding, support, structure and style. The odds of winning are determined by the number of entrants. Each family may submit one essay per child. There is no purchase of any product or service required to enter. A panel of judges will select the finalists and public votes will determine the winners.
