Taking place at Milovice Airport on Saturday June 11th, the event will feature performances by nu-metal giants Korn and British heavy metal legends Iron Maiden.

Other acts on the bill include Cavalera Conspiracy, Mastodon, In Flames and Misfits.

Korn released their ninth studio album Korn III: Remember Who You Are in July last year, while Iron Maiden are poised to unveil a new greatest hits collection on May 23rd.

The festival site is located about 47 kilometres from Prague and can be reached in less than an hour from the city by car. There are also bus and train services from the capital to Milovice.

Standard tickets for Sonisphere are priced at 1,230 Czech koruna (GBP44.50) plus booking fee.

VIP passes are also available, at a cost of 3,500 Czech koruna, for those who want to make their day extra special.

Festival-goers with VIP tickets are entitled to free non-alcoholic drinks and snacks, as well as access to an exclusive tent area and VIP parking.
