Waco, Texas Small Business Bringing Music to Customer's Ears for 17 Years

    WACO, TX, May 23, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Sonny Juarez is the owner of a small business that brings music to your ears and is a musician's hero. For seventeen years he has been servicing audio equipment and instruments in the Central Texas area.

"While attending TSTI in Harlingen, Texas for computer maintenance technology, one of my professors invited me to work for him at Hermes Music in McAllen to earn some extra money. I saw where much of the equipment was similar to computers and decided to stick with this vein of the electronic spectrum," said Sonny, the owner of Electronic Solutions & Organ Service.

While at Hermes, Sonny taught students how to repair analog and digital audio equipment from Peru to Argentina and elsewhere in South America.

Sonny is a veteran of the United States Army and prior to moving to Waco, he taught electronics for the University of Mexico City. Over the years he and his wife, Betty, have enjoyed contributing back to the community in various ways.

"I spend a lot of time working for the Scottish Rite Children's Hospital and with Camp Success. I also do a lot of work insuring that children have something for Christmas and food for Thanksgiving. My wife and I collect and give away bundles of clothes to the needy each year. I just cannot express how proud I am of my wife for all her charitable efforts and contributions," Sonny said.

Sonny services audio equipment, keyboards and organs at his 939 Lake Air location in Waco as well as a 100 mile radius.

"I recall going on a service call to work on a Hammond organ. Upon completion of the job, I noticed that the name on my notes was not the name on the invoice. I asked the customer about it and she said that Mrs. 'so and so' lived two houses down. I had been in the wrong house for over three hours.

"My greatest reward is seeing the smiles on people's faces when they begin to play their instruments again. Over the years this job has taken me from rock concerts to churches and everywhere in between. I've worked for a few celebrities, but one of my favorites is Classie Ballou."

Sonny is a Scottish Rite Mason and has served on the board of the Cen-Tex Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and is a member of National Hispanic Profession Association.

"I am the only Peavey Service Center in Central Texas, as well as for Yamaha, Roland, Kurzweil, American Music and Sound, Allen & Heath, Ampeg, Boss, Casio, Crate, Hammond, Hammond Suzuki, Kawai, Kustom, Loud Technology, Mackie, Baldwin and Behringer," Sonny stated.

When asked about how long he expects to continue providing this service Sonny replied, "I see myself doing this sort of work as long as I can. My Dad told me that the smartest person in the world is the one who can make a dollar and not have to work for it and I really don't consider what I do work, but a labor of love."
