    PHUKET, THAILAND, June 03, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The Fifth International Symposium on Refractive Surgery, Cataract and Cornea will be looking into new advances in eye surgery and bringing together leading experts to share knowledge from within the field. This will come from speakers that will be coming to Israel to share information on their own specialist subjects and this includes representatives from the USA, Canada, Germany and Belgium.

Some of the subject matter to be discussed will analyse corneal challenges and how refractive surgery using lasers can be customised. In the study of refractive cataracts doctors will also explain about the use of femtosecond lasers for cataract and refractive surgery. Finally the expectations, techniques and results from using femtolasers in cataract surgery will be presented and during each of the talks audiences will be given the chance to openly discuss any questions they may have.

The conference takes place from 21st to 23rd July 2011 at Le Meridien Hotel where delegates can stay or choose from the many other Dead Sea hotels in the area. In addition to the formal speeches the organisers have also arranged social events on the Thursday and Friday evenings.
