Kaymer, who briefly held the world number one ranking earlier this year, will be hoping to give German golf fans a reminder of his talents by winning the title in Munich once again.
 
However, he is likely to encounter fierce competition from the likes of Stenson and Casey, who will make it three English champions in a row at the BMW International Open if he emerges victorious.
 
Liverpool-born Nick Dougherty won the tournament in 2009 and Stockport's David Horsey claimed the title last year.
