LAKE DISTRICT, ENGLAND, June 12, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Comedian and journalist Dom Joly will head to Cumbria with his new show Welcome to Wherever I Am next month.
Fans of the Beirut-born performer, who hit the big time as the creator and star of Trigger Happy TV, can see him on stage at The Forum in Barrow-in-Furness on Friday July 8th.
Joly's show is based on his travels around the world over the last ten years and the many strange things he has experienced along the way, such as holidaying in North Korea and skiing down a volcano.
With the help of some unusual holiday snaps, the 43-year-old will also attempt to shed some light on his eventful spell in the Australian jungle as a contestant on last year's I'm a Celebrity ... Get Me Out of Here!
Joly finished fourth in the tenth series of the reality programme, in which he completed tasks alongside the likes of Shaun Ryder and Stacey Solomon.
Tickets for the show in Barrow are available online, priced at GBP17.50 plus booking fee. The performance is due to begin at 20:00 BST.
