REGINA, SK, June 19, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Award-winning artisan Steve Soffa and Woman Poker Player Magazine have reached an agreement to launch a dynamic timepiece and luxury gold and precious gemstone poker-themed collection that will appeal to the player in every woman.
Each magnificent piece in the Steve Soffa Luxury Players Collection will be limited editions and all hand crafted. These exquisite works of art will express beauty, elegance, and style.
Steve Soffa changed the landscape in 2010, with new designs for the World Series of Poker bracelets. Not only did Soffa design unique bracelets to define each major tournament event, but he also wanted to craft a special bracelet for the Ladies event. After hours of negotiating with the World Series Team, Soffa created a stunning solid gold bracelet that was encrusted with pink sapphires, and surrounded with black and white diamonds. The WSOP Ladies Championship bracelet made its debut at the 2010 WSOP to an overwhelming response.
A large component of the agreement between Steve Soffa and Woman Poker Player magazine will be to give back to society. Each piece purchased from the new Collection will make a donation to benefit the HOHS Kidney Dialysis fund in "your name." These donations will be sure to bring a smile to the many people who are in need of this treatment.
Readers of Woman Poker Player Magazine will have a unique opportunity to comment on the design stages of the artistry that goes into creating some of the pieces through a special section of the publication, which will be live in the coming months.
"We are both honored and excited to be in partnership with such a talented and coveted jewelry artist," said Maryann Morrison, managing editor of Woman Poker Player. "Working with Steve and being able to present an innovative sneak preview to the stages of craftsmanship will be amazing for our readers. Its a chance for women to be a part of something they may never have before."
"I have no doubt that it will be every girl's dream to own an exquisite limited piece from the Steve Soffa Luxury Players Collection."
The Steve Soffa Luxury Players Collection is expected to be available at live events, at Steve Soffa's Hardcore Watch Company, as well as online through the Woman Poker Player Magazine website, and is due to be unveiled in 2012.
