This year's race takes place on July 10th, and begins at Hyde Park Corner, and covers much of the planned marathon route for next summer's Olympics as it takes in St James's Street, Pall Mall, Trafalgar Square, St Paul's Cathedral, Tower Bridge, the Houses of Parliament and Downing Street, before hitting the finish line in the poignant location of the Cenotaph.

The race is open to both serious athletes and fun runners, and this year's race charity is the Anthony Nolan Trust.
