Dahlin Group Architecture Planning Wins 11 Gold Nugget Awards In 2011 Design/Planning Competition For Projects In U.S. And Abroad

    PLEASANTON, CA, July 01, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Dahlin Group Architecture Planning has earned 11 honors in the 2011 Gold Nugget design and planning competition, one of the nation's most prestigious design and planning competitions. Host sponsor PCBC celebrated winners June 23 in San Francisco as part of its annual conference for real estate development professionals.

Dahlin Group earned its Grand and Merit Awards in custom and production residential design, rehabilitation and remodeling, site planning and community design/planning categories. Its Grand Award was for international design, for Yalong Bay Villas in Hainan (Island) Province, China.

Gold Nugget Awards Judge Tom Doucette of Doucette Communities in Tucson, Arizona, said this year's competition was exceptionally diverse, with Yalong Bay Villas a noteworthy example. "Creative ideas in design do not know boundaries," he said. "We found the variety and level of excellence to be particularly heartening this year."
