HONG KONG, HK, July 08, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The Ngong Ping 360 Shaolin Kung Fu Showcase will be performed in Hong Kong throughout July and August.
It takes place at the Ngong Ping Village on Lantau Island, where a group of trained martial artists will show off their stunning acrobatic moves and help visitors to try the techniques for themselves.
Each day, there will be a performance from 12:30 to 13:00 local time, followed by a photo-taking opportunity.
The experts will carry out complex and visually incredible moves such as overhead kicks and 'praying mantis fists', according to the organisers.
In the afternoon, a Shaolin Qixingquan training session will take place from 13:50 to 14:05. At about 15:00, another show and photo opportunity is scheduled.
If people attend at the weekend or on a public holiday, they can also enjoy an extra training session from 16:15.
Lantau is the largest island in the region and also features Hong Kong Disneyland.
While the performances are free to watch and training costs nothing to get involved with, people may need to book ahead to ensure they can get a place in the workshops.
Martial arts enthusiasts can find a vast selection of Hong Kong hotels at AsiaRooms.com, such as the Kings De Nathan.
