DirectRooms.com - New Beachfront Resort Set to Open in Khao Lak in 2011

    PHUKET, THAILAND, July 09, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The new property is being built by the Wyndham Hotel Group and will operate as the Wyndham Khao Lak Resort but is owned by South Sea Prakarang Resort who will manage the franchise. Guests will be able to choose from 134 rooms or one of the 66 exclusive villas that will be a short distance from the sea and the clear sandy beaches.

Khao Lak is in the north of Phuket and the area offers more seclusion than some of the more popular parts of the island. On site however will be plenty to keep guests entertained as facilities include a spa, outdoor swimming pool and gym.

There is also a large hall for conferences and functions and the restaurant serves food throughout the day or guests can try the drinks and food from the beach bar and American bistro.

The resort is set to open near the end of 2011 and will join a small collection of other hotels in Khao Lak that operate in the area.
