PARIS, FRANCE, July 09, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- This summer's Rock en Seine festival will bring thousands of music fans to the Domaine National de Saint-Cloud, a park just outside Paris.
With an eclectic line-up boasting plenty of big-name acts alongside emerging stars, the event will run from Friday August 26th to Sunday August 28th.
Arctic Monkeys are due to headline the second night of the festival, with other confirmed performers including Foo Fighters, Death in Vegas, The Kills, Interpol, Cage the Elephant, Deftones and Seasick Steve.
Ticket-holders can also look forward to rare appearances from legendary indie band The La's and US hip-hop star Q-Tip.
Launched as a one-day event in 2003, Rock en Seine has grown bigger each year and approximately 105,000 revellers headed to Paris for the 2010 edition.
Those planning to attend this year's event can buy weekend tickets online for EUR109 (GBP97.60). Tickets for individual days are also available, priced at EUR49.
To reach the festival site from the city using public transport, people should take the Metro service and alight at the Boulogne - Pont de Saint-Cloud stop, which is about five minutes away from the site.
