Entitled From Bali With Love, the installation at the Ganesha Gallery is set to feature pieces produced using a wide array of media, materials and techniques in an attempt by Stephens to leave the meaning of her art open to interpretation.
 
Although the true message behind each work is shrouded, they are designed to highlight the joy and relevance of the moment.
 
Described by the organisers as "intricate storyboards", the pieces tell a variety of stories that come together to create a "broad spectrum of themes and emotions".
 
From Bali With Love is due to open at the Ganesha Gallery on Thursday August 4th and run until Monday August 29th.
 
Stephens, born in Wellington in 1968, is an internationally acclaimed artist who has seen her work exhibited in galleries around the world.
 
Her Free Transport compilation has been displayed in Bali and Brazil, while other locations that have hosted her art include Bangkok, Goa, Paris and Sydney.
 
Shades of Bali, her first solo exhibition, was held at the Strand Gallery back in 1992.
