LONDON, ENGLAND, July 21, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- From August 2nd-6th, Britain's biggest beer festival opens its bars at the Earls Court Exhibition Centre. Featuring over 700 real ales, ciders, perries and international beers, last year the event attracted nearly 67,000 visitors and sold some 200,000 pints.
As well as the obvious attraction of alcoholic beverages, the festival also lays on a full entertainment programme of music, tasting classes and auctions.
There will also be plenty of food available to keep you on your feet, including Indian dishes, pasties, seafood, cheese, sausages and salads.
Tickets are GBP6 for Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA) members and GBP8 for non-members, with most ales available to sample in a 1/3 pint glass for less than GBP1.
Revellers can also take part in 'Hat Day', where everyone is encouraged to wear either a hat they have designed themselves or one that is very special to them, with the best headgear awarded prizes including beer vouchers.
Hotels-London has a variety of Hammersmith hotels that are just a short journey from the arena. These include Novotel London West, which is comfortably within walking distance.
