MILAN, ITALY, July 27, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Fans of the artist Anish Kapoor will be spoilt for choice if they head to Milan over the next few months, since there are two exhibitions on display devoted to his work.
The British sculptor has become one of the most famous names in his discipline and won a range of awards for his creative output, including the Turner Prize in 1991.
In Milan, his art will be on show at the Rotonda di Via Besana until October 9th 2011 and the Fabbrica del Vapore until January 8th 2012.
The former collection features a variety of his recent works, while the latter boasts a 60-metre sculpture created specifically for the area.
Kapoor, who grew up in India but has lived and worked in London since the 1970s, is perhaps most famous for his Cloud Gate and Sky Mirror installations at the Millennium Park in Chicago and New York's Rockefeller Centre respectively.
It costs EUR6 (GBP5.30) to view the Milan exhibitions, although concessions are available.
Both venues open at 09:30 local time daily, except for Monday when they begin letting visitors in at 14:30. They close at 19:30 each day apart from Thursday and Saturday, when the buildings shut at the later time of 22:30.
