Reliant Technology Announces EMC CLARiiON Upgrade Program

The program will enable EMC storage customers with EMC CLARiiON CX3 and CX4 series systems to continue to upgrade their EMC CLARiiON systems as the manufacturer reduces support offered for these systems.

When a new product is released, the manufacturer typically begins to reduce support for older systems predecessors, often charging expensive premiums for system support and upgrades. As EMC rolls out the EMC VNX storage line, EMC storage customers using the EMC CLARiiON CX3 or EMC CLARiiON CX4 series may find it difficult to obtain the support needed to maintain their systems from the manufacturer. With the EMC CLARiiON Upgrade Program, Reliant Technology offers a cost-effective option for EMC customers who need to extend the life of their existing systems and are not prepared for the capital expenditures necessary to acquire a new system.
