New Eats at Fort Worth Family Restaurant The Eatery Renowned Southern Food Restaurant Expands Its Menu

    HALTOM CITY, TX, August 05, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Chicken fried steak and meatloaf are already staples at The Eatery at 3257 North Beach Street in Haltom City. Now those favorites will be part of a new menu that includes Cowboy Steak and King Ranch Stuffed Pablano Pepper, emphasizing the southern recipes and home cooking that have built the Fort Worth restaurant's reputation.

As a local, family establishment, The Eatery relies on home-made ingredients and fresh produce to entice customers with signature recipes. According to co-owner Cindy Gifford, the new menu will enhance The Eatery's reputation as a good place to get southern food.

"The new menu keeps the old favorites that customers love, but it adds new dishes that are creative, bold and fun," she said.

Appetizers, new chicken dishes and Burger Diane-- the restaurant's first burger-- are among the new menu's offerings. Don Gifford, The Eatery's co-owner and chef, said that the new menu is based on customer requests and a desire to offer more variety.

"We read reviews of The Eatery on Urban Spoon and other review sites and we listen to what visitors tell us," he said. "The new menu offers authentic southern cooking and from-scratch recipes."
