PARIS, FRANCE, August 18, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Fans of Avril Lavigne have an opportunity to see the Canadian singer perform in Paris next month.
The former teen star is due to play live in the French capital on Friday September 16th and Saturday September 17th as part of her European tour.
Her two shows at Le Zenith will give admirers a chance to hear songs from Goodbye Lullaby, the latest album from the 26-year-old performer.
Released in March this year, the LP features the singles What the Hell, Smile and Wish You Were Here.
Several tracks on the album were produced by Deryck Whibley, the frontman of Canadian pop-punk band Sum 41 and Lavigne's former husband.
The couple separated after three years of marriage and Lavigne filed for divorce in October 2009, although the pair have reportedly remained good friends.
Fans heading to the Paris concerts can also look forward to the prospect of hearing older songs such as Complicated, Sk8er Boi, I'm with You and Girlfriend.
Tickets for the shows are available online, priced at EUR39.50 (GBP34.70). The music is due to begin at 20:00 local time on both nights.
