HOUSTON, TX, September 06, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- YouFiiBuy, an innovative new Web-based service company, announced its partnership with local area fundraisers for the International Rett Syndrome Foundation (IRSF). The company, headquartered in Houston, facilitates financing and cash offers for donated automobiles, motorcycles, watercraft, boat trailers and other heavy equipment. YouFiiBuy will convert donated assets into cash for IRSF, which will receive up to 80 percent of the retail sales price of donated assets.
According to Nik Thomas, COO of YouFiiBuy, "This partnership is intended to help fund the Foundation's mission of helping researchers find a cure for this devastating disorder. A considerable amount of Rett syndrome research is conducted in Houston's world-renowned medical center, one of the primary reasons we decided to launch this partnership here in Houston."
Local IRSF volunteer leader Kevin Black remarks, "We are so excited to team up with YouFiiBuy.com. This locally managed company can benefit us greatly in our efforts to raise money for medical research."
Black's daughter, Cortney, lost her life to Rett syndrome at age 16. "It's a new and innovative way for charities like the IRSF to generate funds for research and support," adds Black, a well-known Houston singer-songwriter.
Black and his brother, country superstar, Clint Black, are holding their annual fundraiser, Spending Time Ending Rett, the fourth weekend of October. This year's event includes both a fishing and golf tournament, and strollathon, as well as a concert held at the Crighton Theatre, Sunday, October 23, in beautiful downtown Conroe, featuring Clint Black. Clint will be joined by brothers Kevin and Brian as well as Kevin's son Coleton for a one-of-a-kind listening experience.
"I can't think of a better way for us to introduce our innovative approach to help charities raise new funds," says Thomas. "We hope to have significant success here locally before we take this nationwide. We're excited to show the entire Houston area and state of Texas how they can help fund a cure for Rett. I witnessed, firsthand, last year what a great organization IRSF is and this partnership allows us to work with Kevin and his team to make a real difference for girls with Rett."
Individuals that donate or buy a vehicle, designated for IRSF prior to the event on October 23rd, will receive two VIP tickets to the Clint Black concert and an invitation to a private VIP reception hosted by Kevin and Clint before the show. This is in addition to receiving the maximum tax benefit allowable by the IRS.
Black went on to say, "Even after this year's fundraiser is over, folks can continue to offer additional support to the IRSF by purchasing a designated IRSF vehicle or listing a vehicle through YouFiiBuy.com and designating all or a portion of the funds go to the IRSF."
