CHESTER, ENGLAND, September 03, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Jesse Young CEO of PerDM Group commented on the recent developments, "It may be viewed within the USA that everything is back on track but internationally this episode has brought unwelcome attention on the American political stalemate and the true depth of its debt crisis."
President Obama turned 50 recently but he must be feeling his age and will be pretty bruised and very battered after his battle with the Republicans. As the world watched US politicians played 'ducks and drakes' with the American and global economy. This insular politicking created an "intense examination and focus on how weak the USA's economy really is" believes Jesse Young PerDM's CEO. We now know just how unstable their fiscal policies really are and how impecunious President Obama really is when it comes to exerting power and leadership.
Of course right now the Dollar sits at the top of the currency tree it is the standard that all other economies work off which made the recent events all the more scarier. Both parties appeared to show no concern for the effects this drawn out process and uncertainty it was having on the world economy. "It was all about the next year's Presidential election," says Jesse Young. "Not about solving a debt crisis that is threatening to sink the American economy."
The result is that the world now views America in a different light. It isn't the powerhouse we all thought. It doesn't have strong leadership which it needs right now. "Even if the decisions are unpopular they need to be made if they are the right ones'" commented the PerDM Group CEO. Jesse went on to say: "Emerging economies such as India and China will be looking at the USA and wondering whether it can survive this political vacuum."
Right now the world needs a strong America after all it is still the biggest economy in the world...just! It is only a matter of time before China overtakes the US. When that happens there is every possibility that China will step out of the shadows and launch its own currency to rival the dollar. Given how badly American politicians treated the debate and negotiations over the raising of their borrowing limits it would not be a surprise if we see a changing of the guard and China eventually sitting at the top of the global tree.
PerDM believe: "We have a president who expects people to behave responsibly and reasonably in office but what we saw were very damaging political and economic infighting . Something that will have lasting consequences on the brand which is the USA."
