CORNWALL, ENGLAND, September 04, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- A number of leading chefs are preparing to share their expertise with visitors to the 2011 Boscastle Festival.
Taking place in the Cornish town on Saturday October 1st and Sunday October 2nd, the event will see the likes of Nathan Outlaw and Paul Ainsworth offer practical demonstrations and give people the chance to taste their mouth-watering creations.
Both chefs are leading lights of the south-west restaurant scene. Outlaw is the proud holder of two Michelin stars, while Padstow-based Ainsworth showcased his culinary flair on BBC2's Great British Menu earlier this year.
Other gastronomes due to take part in the Boscastle Festival include Andy Appleton of Fifteen Cornwall, TV presenter Martin Dorey and Paul Harwood, the head chef at Rick Stein's St Petroc's Bistro in Padstow.
As well as enjoying the cooking, visitors will have a chance to take a taste of Cornwall home with them by sampling the food and drink exhibitors in the festival's local produce market.
The event also serves as a platform for the local arts and crafts scene, with a variety of stalls set to offer handmade goods, photography and paintings.
Tickets for the festival are priced at just GBP3 for adults, while under-16s enter for free.
LateRooms.com features a wide range of Cornwall accommodation that could appeal to food fans, including the Tregarthen Guest House in Newquay.
