SCOTTSDALE, AZ, September 10, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Coffee del Sol, an online specialty retail coffee company announced that it will partner with the FORE NOAH Foundation for its Coffee of the Month program for the month of September. The Coffee of the Month program partners a nonprofit organization with a select coffee and $2 from every bag sold of the selected coffee will be donated to the nonprofit.
September's Coffee of the Month is Coffee del Sol's Sumatra, a full roast, from the Mandheling region. It is noted for its super complex flavors, sweet and savory, earthy and syrupy body with notes of dried orange rind.
FORE NOAH was created in 2005 and raises money for pediatric cancer research and specifically, funds research grants for Neuroblastoma through the Children's Neuroblastoma Cancer Foundation. Neuroblastoma affects only 3 out of 1 million children. It is a childhood cancer which strikes children before age 5. When Noah Nelson (5 years old) was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma, his cancer was stage IV, fully metastasized and his condition was classified as high risk. The Nelson family was told that Noah had a 20% chance of surviving 5 years. Family and friends gathered to create FORE NOAH. Thankfully, Noah is now 11 years old and a healthy, active boy who loves sports and music.
