/24-7PressRelease/ - January 26, 2007 - Babylon Mall can't wait to celebrate its third birthday on Saturday, January 27, 2007. The mall will be holding an online party in its chat area and is delighted to be unveiling a completely new retro design for its website at the same time. Please stop by our website on Saturday night at 7pm Eastern time and check out the new retro look, then click the link for fun chat, drinks (bring your own), quizzes and possibly some free give-aways.
The Babylon Mall website opened to the World Wide Web in 2004 as a fun and easy way for people to buy and sell vintage clothing online. Since then it has grown to include almost 50 stores and over 1000 members. It continually strives to provide top-notch personal customer service and new and improved features to the mall software. Some of the latest features include 'Hive This!' buttons to allow sellers to take advantage of the Stylehive shopping network, as well as automatic RSS feeds on every store that allow potential buyers to always keep up with the newest sale items. We also provide sellers with a free banner exchange program with the eVintage Society website, and have a page on MySpace. All these things give sellers and the mall more exposure to a larger market of vintage clothing shoppers.
Babylon Mall is also delighted to announce a strategic partnership with Maureen Valdes Marsh who will be offering custom templates and graphic design services from her new mall store "Pink Truck Productions" which is due to open in February. Maureen is a vintage clothing seller, and author of the book 70s Fashion Fiascos and has a keen eye and flair for vintage and retro website design.
We look forward to seeing you Saturday night for some shopping and partying!
