After starting out in the music industry as a writer, Hilson found success as a solo artist thanks to her 2009 debut album In a Perfect World..., which contained the singles Turnin' Me On and Knock Me Down.
 
She followed that up with the release of her sophomore LP No Boys Allowed, produced by Timbaland and Polow Da Don, late last year. The album saw Hilson collaborate with some of the biggest names in R'n'B and hip-hop, including Kanye West, Chris Brown and Rick Ross.
 
Explaining the record's title, Hilson said: "It's not about excluding men. It's more about women understanding that there comes a time in your life when you want a man. A real man. A grown up. Not a boy. And that's not a bad thing."
 
The singer is due to perform at Dubai's Crystal venue on Friday October 14th, just one night before she winds up the tour by taking the stage in Beirut.
 
Doors at Crystal are scheduled to open at 18:00 local time.
