WAYNESBORO, VA, October 04, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- DocPath, well known for its innovative development of document software solutions, announces the certification of DASCOM's new Tally 4347 printer family. The Tally 4347 i08 & i10 printer models are now certified to operate with the set of document management solutions from DocPath, combining the benefits of impact printing with the powerful document generation capabilities made possible by the document software firm.
The Tally 4347 series consists of two serial matrix models using robust interfaces and protocols developed and tested in many locations around the world. These printers represent high throughput print speeds, rugged durability and reliable performance under the most extreme conditions. In addition, these workhorse printers deliver crisp, dark, clear and legible print thanks to the advanced engineering of the 24 pin print head.
Taking full advantage of the high resolution print quality of the 4347's 24 pin print head, DocPath, for the first time ever, provides users with the power to design graphical documents for print on a serial matrix printer, via an easy to use GUI interface, complete with data driven templates, barcodes, logos, clauses, languages, and more. As the 4347 printer models are now officially certified by DocPath, users will be assured of the proper functionality and support relative to working with DocPath's document generation software. With this recognition, users of the new DASCOM 4347 can continue to benefit from the long standing advantages of impact printing, including ultra low print costs, minimal environmental impact and support for multi-part printing, while eliminating the expense and inflexibility of pre-printed forms. In addition, a DocPath solution will also grant access to a number of other document output capabilities including PDF generation, and automated delivery to e-mail, fax and archive.
Impact printers are still the optimum choice for many environments, where low printing costs, multi-part support and/or reliability in harsh environments are fundamental requirements. Thanks to DocPath, businesses no longer need to forfeit the benefits of serial matrix in order to implement and benefit from a market leading document management solution. Pre-printed forms can now become a thing of the past, and in addition to print, full color document versions can be delivered electronically in an automated fashion.
"DASCOM printers have become a benchmark for printing barcodes, labels, packing slips, invoices and other business critical documents," explains Ron Acorn, president of DASCOM Americas. "The certification of our printers further multiplies the options for enhancing and printing important documents for all types of businesses since it reflects the compatibility of our printers with the powerful document generation software provided by DocPath. We feel the strategic synergies of our collective products escalate the quality and value of print solutions for a wide variety of clients the world over."
The president and founder of DocPath, Julio Olivares, says that "Customers who demand advanced document generation software, and desire the high reliability and low cost of print of serial matrix, now have a proven and certified solution combination! With the 4347's ability to function properly with DocPath solutions, this combination means that, not only can you reliably print your business documents, but simultaneously generate color PDFs, store documents in a digital archive, deliver to e-mail, and much more, thereby taking full advantage of DocPath's solution capabilities."
