Academy of Coaching & NLP Celebrates Two-Year Anniversary

    NEVADA CITY, CA, September 30, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Helen Attridge, CEO of ACN, took over the NLP Coach Program in 2009. She upgraded the program which had been around for nine years to the highest level of credentialing with ICF. According to Helen Attridge, "My vision has been to create a ripple effect of change globally through training coaches. ACN is exceeding the expectations of students who come through its doors. Our training transforms new coaches from the inside out to really live their mission and purpose. We're teaching all the skills and streamlining the process for students to become fully accredited International Coach Federation (ICF) coaches."

As part of our anniversary, ACN celebrates its evolution in making its vision of change a reality. The fully accredited coaching school now offers:

*Highest Accreditation: ACN recently upgraded its program to ACTP, the highest acceditation possible from ICF. ACN now provides the full 125 training hours required by ICF for coaches to take the ICF route to Professional Certified Coach (PCC) credentialing.

*Mentoring and supervised sessions: ACN has instituted mentoring and supervised sessions with mastered certified coaches assisting new coaches in implementing their skill set with live coaching of clients.

*Oral and written exam requirements: As required for credentialing, ACN administers the ICF exam and assists students in processing it thorugh ICF to receive their certificate.

*Marketing assistant and marketing seminars: ACN links students with marketing specialists and marketing webinars so that coaches can define and reach their target market.

*Holistic, Experiential Training: Every coaching technique at ACN is fully demonstrated in a coaching context. Students are also on their own coaching journey at a transformative level.

*NLP techniques: ACN training includes neurolinguistic programming, an innovative coaching modality that works that works on underlying belief systems and creates lasting changes.

*Global Presence: At ACN, students learn to coach on an international level across cultures. ACN programs attract students from around the world.

New Programs Announced:

In celebration of its two-year milestone, ACN is branching out with several new programs:

ACN's Winter Intensive Program will begin this winter in Hawaii on January 26th 2012, bringing students from the U.S. and Europe together with students from Australia, New Zealand, and the Asia market. Students will learn coaching skills needed to become successful and network to form International coaching partnerships.

ACN is also developing its specialty trainings for certified coaches in a variety of sectors. Upcoming webinars will support coaches who want to go into the corporate environment and contract with HR and corporate managers. Specialty trainings will also include coaching skills for social workers, for consultants, and for teachers. In addition ACN will launch NLP Health Coach training for people who want to work in the health and wellness field of coaching.
