Kristen Renee Foundation's Founder Randy A. White Releases "Piece of my Heart", a Song Written by Randy in Memory of His Daughter Kristen Renee and for the Awareness of Cancer

    WILTON MANORS, FL, October 04, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The Kristen Renee Foundation was created by Randy A. White and his family. Randy is a retired Senior Pastor from one of the once fastest growing churches in the US, a published author, and speaker. The Kristen Renee Foundation is a charitable organization created in memory of his daughter, Kristen Renee White. Kristen died at the age of 30 on April 30, 2008 after a difficult battle with brain cancer. Kristen was a beloved mother, daughter, sister, wife and friend.

Through this foundation, the family and friends of Kristen carry on the battle against cancer, against poverty, and provide relief in times of disaster. Randy describes the loss as: "...the most devastating thing in my entire life; there's not a day that I don't cry. You have no idea the pain," he said. "Kristen was a beautiful person inside and out. She was a protector to her family and all of her friends. Once you were a friend of Kristen, you were guaranteed loyalty and 100% of her heart. Kristen fought for the underdog; she was fearless in life". Family members say they never saw anything ever shake her faith or strength, not even the day she was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor. During her battle with brain cancer and throughout the ordeal of chemotherapy, Kristen remained courageous. She still smiled and asked others if they were "ok".

Two of her last wishes were to go to Hawaii, and to dance with her daddy. Randy made both wishes come true. As with many fathers, there's nothing he wouldn't have done for his little girl.

Randy wrote the song "Piece of My Heart" looking out at the skies through the window of an airplane. So much reminds him of Kristen. There isn't a day that goes by where he is not thinking of her. Reminders are everywhere. But the memories are precious that remain. Through this song, not only does Randy White share his personal feelings, but he expresses the feelings of so many fathers who share a special bond with their daughters. No matter whether separated by miles or, by life... they'll always remain "Daddy's little girl." And like Randy's love for his daughter, whenever anyone watches their daughter walk away, they too are sure to say, "There goes a 'piece of my heart'."

The Kristen Renee Foundation was originally formed as charitable foundation, with a chairman and a board of directors - converted to a non-for-profit corporation in Florida. Kristen Renee passed away in April of 2008 from a brain tumor; two years later her mother was diagnosed and lost her battle within 9 months to stage four cancer.
