SEDONA, AZ, October 10, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Joy Musacchio and Cynthia Brownley, owners of Stillpoint Aromatics, have launched a new business featuring pure essential oils imported from all over the world, hydrosols, carrier oils, NCBTMB approved aromatherapy workshops, and supplies.
Stillpoint Aromatics offers over 170 essential oils that are either certified organic, wild harvested, or unsprayed. The essential oils are imported from international small farmers and are shipped directly from the distillation. There is no middle person, hence there is no chance of adulteration or "adjustments" to the oils. The essential oils are then stored in a climate-controlled environment to preserve and extend the quality and shelf life. When a purchase is made, the essential oils are hand-poured by the owners and shipped to order.
Asked why this line was created, Musacchio responds, "Basically, we were unhappy with the quality and pricing of many of the essential oils on the market. We wanted to offer essential oils that we knew were ethically farmed or ethically wild-harvested. We wanted to know who the farmers were and how passionate they were about their crops and dedication to the land. We trust our farmers and treasure our relationships with them. We are committed to supporting farmers and distillers that are dedicated to farming without the use of harsh chemicals and pesticides."
Cynthia Brownley states, "We have worked with essential oils in our massage business for over 7 years, and have used them personally for over 23 years. Aromatherapy is an important part of our massage business as essential oils are used in many of our sessions. Quality and purity is of the utmost importance to us. We searched and searched until we found the absolute purest, high vibrational essential oils that are available. By sourcing and importing essential oils ourselves, we can ensure purity, quality, integrity, authenticity and fair prices."
Stillpoint Aromatics also proudly offers batch specific GC/MS reports for their essential oils. GC/MS stands for Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry and is a method that combines the features of gas-liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry to identify different substances within a test sample. GC/MS testing will show if an essential oil is adulterated. It will also list each of the chemical components present, which is very important when blending essential oils for a particular purpose or health condition.
Both owners of Stillpoint Aromatics have their Masters in Education. Aromatherapy Workshops are available throughout the year in Sedona, Arizona and abroad. Students learn how essential oils are used to maintain health, treat chronic and acute pain, and reduce stress. Participants gain a deeper understanding of Aromatherapy and become proficient in various uses and applications of essential oils. CEUs are available.
