DFW Credit Repair Firm Rising Point Solutions Adding New Talent and New Jobs

Owners Carl Stanley and Monty Brouse recently decided to take it up a notch, or several notches, by placing their event coordinator, Carolyn Clark, in the position of Director of Social Media and Marketing.

Clark's long-standing history and reputation in mortgage and lending circles were determining factors in the move, along with her skills on the social networks. She began the networking event phase of her career in 2005 "by accident" when she landed an event coordinator position with a large mortgage networking event group in Dallas. Soon, Dallas events expanded to Fort Worth, Austin, and Houston, where she made ever-increasing connections with movers and shakers in the industry.

Clark claims to be the perfect example of how networking can be extremely beneficial to the job hunter. "When I first started, I didn't know a single person in the mortgage or real estate business, and I didn't know anything about the business either," she says. "When I was at the events, I would see the same people frequently. I gradually made many acquaintances, kept meticulous records of who did what, listened to what people were saying about the business, and offered help when I was able. Then one offer turned into many, and here I am today. It's just because I happened to be at a networking event at the same time as someone who really needed me."

Clark has had several offers from other companies recently, but chose to stay at Rising Point Solutions. She says, "I really believe in what they are doing. Plus they're growing so fast it keeps my life very exciting - and they really have become like family."

"One of the biggest obstacles for people to purchase a house is bad credit," says Stanley. "It's a real shame when home prices are low and rates are low for people to miss out because of bad information on their reports. When they come to us, we do everything we can to clear things up and get them qualified. It's very rewarding work."
