Pardee Homes' Mike Carrillo Named Builder Community Superintendent of the Year in SoCal Awards

Mike Carrillo began his career at Pardee Homes as a laborer, moving up through Customer Service and Construction to earn a Superintendent position at age 26, in 2006. "He is project superintendent of another big winner for Pardee Homes: LivingSmart Homes at Fair Oaks Ranch, which took top honors as Green Community of the Year/Suburban, and was Finalist as Neighborhood of the Year.

"Mike's competence is exceptional, and he combines it with motivation and teamwork that are just as outstanding," said Pistone. "That's why he earned his position as a Pardee superintendent at such a young age."

Carrillo said he was "floored" to learn his company had nominated him in the SoCal Awards. "I am truly gratified by this recognition, and delighted to share it with everyone at Pardee who helps deliver quality homes to our buyers," he said. "Their contributions are critical to any success I can point to as Project Superintendent, and I thank everyone on the team for this honor."

A native Californian, Mike Carrillo makes his home in Palmdale, with a family that includes wife Adriana and their three children. In conjunction with his work with Pardee, he champions HomeAid fundraisers that support quality shelter for the transitionally homeless. These include Project Playhouse and Hearts Building Homes.
