PORTAGE, MI, October 14, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Great Lakes Plastic & Hand Surgery is offering three of the newest techniques available for liposuction in Grand Rapids, including superwet liposuction, power-assisted liposuction (PAL), and ultrasound-assisted liposuction (UAL). Dr. Scott Holley, who is also a breast augmentation specialist near Grand Rapids, notes that one of the keys to achieving a particular cosmetic goal is having the most advanced procedural techniques available.
"Liposuction in the Grand Rapids area is an excellent way for women and men to create a smoother and more balanced body contour," notes Dr. Holley. "Depending on the patient's cosmetic goals and body type, I typically choose from one of the three innovative liposuction procedures we now offer at Great Lakes Plastic & Hand Surgery. Each technique possesses a unique set of benefits."
Superwet liposuction minimizes swelling and bruising through the injection of a solution into pockets of excess fat on the body. This technique loosens fat cells, so they are more easily removed using a cannula. Power-assisted liposuction (PAL) uses a vibrating cannula to break up fat cells, thereby reducing the amount of force exerted by the surgeon. In addition, the practice offers ultrasound-assisted liposuction (UAL), which uses ultrasonic waves to break down fat cells.
"These three techniques offer women and men an alternative to traditional liposuction, and enable surgeons to provide more effective results," says Dr. Holley. "Our liposuction techniques decrease the amount of recovery time, while achieving the smooth, shapelier bodies that our patients desire."
Dr. Holley and the entire staff at Great Lakes Plastic & Hand Surgery offer an extensive menu of options for both men and women. Dr. Holley says he customizes each treatment plan to address the individual patient's needs and aesthetic goals, from body contouring procedures to breast enhancement, such as augmentation with breast implants near Grand Rapids.
"Each patient that visits our practice can count on innovative techniques, and customized surgery plans," adds Dr. Holley. "From liposuction to breast augmentation, our entire staff is dedicated to providing personalized results."
