Jackson Design & Remodeling Sponsors ASID Kitchen Tour Oct. 22 Featuring the Best in San Diego Design

    SAN DIEGO, CA, October 16, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Jackson Design and Remodeling is one of the sponsors of the American Society of Interior Designers' self-guided Kitchen Tour on Saturday, October 22nd. The tour, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., will showcase 14 beautifully remodeled kitchens in San Diego County. JDR is also featured on the tour with a kitchen designed as part of a whole home remodel for a client in Del Mar. The design is an artful interpretation of California Coastal aesthetics, combined with contemporary notes and softer elements inspired by the Arts and Crafts movement.

Tickets are $25 each, but the public can purchase tickets from JDR by Oct. 19 to receive a $10 discount. All tickets must be picked up at JDR's tour location in Del Mar.

Tour sites are located in Point Loma, Bay Park, La Jolla, Del Mar, Cardiff, Carlsbad, Rancho Bernardo, Poway, Tierrasanta, Del Cerro, College area, Kensington, El Cajon and Jamul. Since kitchens are located throughout the county (along the coast and in East County) ticket holders can visit a few projects close to home or spend the whole day exploring the breadth of design taking place locally.

Tatiana Machado-Rosas, Jackson Design and Remodeling's Design Department Head and Senior Interior Designer, is the Chair of the ASID Kitchen Tour 2011.
