MARINA DEL REY, CA, October 20, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Nearly 700 patients and guests filled the lush offices of Marina Plastic Surgery last month to celebrate 25 years of plastic surgery excellence in Marina del Rey. Los Angeles face lift surgeon Dr. Grant Stevens, founder and the evening's host, joined with Charlie Sheridan, director, and special guest Millionaire Matchmaker Patti Stanger to welcome guests to "Girls Night Out." The event featured pink and black feathers, disco balls and sparkling decorations, and the evening's highlights included an intimate look into a variety of surgical and non-invasive procedures, a makeup salon, a candy bar where guest filled pink bags with luscious sweets, goody bags, a Tarot card reader and men from Chippendale's who greeted guests. Extravagant food and drinks from the "Pink Bar" were also offered in abundance.
"What a night," said Dr. Stevens. "So many patients came back to celebrate with us and many shared their experiences. We are blessed to have such a great following, and I was thrilled to be able to chat with patients who came to celebrate 5, 10 and even 25 years later."
Girls Night Out did also attracted a good showing of men who wanted to show off their big abs and smaller stomachs thanks to Los Angeles liposuction procedures as well as CoolSculpting by ZELTIQ, a procedure that shrinks body fat in hard to lose places without surgery. Demonstrations included Thermage, CoolSculpting by ZELTIQ, BOTOX Cosmetic, and the newest lasers - Exilis, Excel V and Clear and Brilliant. Prizes and discount coupons were part of the festivities.
"It was so much fun. As a Los Angeles cosmetic surgeon, I am looking forward to the next 25 years. Plastic surgery is just exploding with new, non-invasive procedures and exciting surgical techniques," Dr. Stevens said. "Can you imagine what kind of 'Star Wars' lasers will be in our future?"
