Ryder's show in York on Monday November 28th will offer fans a chance to get reacquainted with his musical career, which spawned hits such as Step On and Kinky Afro during his time with the Happy Mondays.
 
The Salford-born singer went on to taste chart success in the mid-1990s with Black Grape, who released hit singles such as Reverend Black Grape and In the Name of the Father.
 
He also has his solo album, 2003's Amateur Night in the Big Top, to draw from.
 
Tickets for the gig at Fibbers are available to buy online, priced at GBP20 plus booking fee.
 
Support will be provided by rock'n'roll five-piece Dixie and doors are due to open at 19:30 GMT.
