TUCSON, AZ, October 31, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Nadcap (National Aerospace and Defense Contractors Accreditation Program) has recently conferred accreditation in the area of Chemical Processing on Horst Engineering's Guaymas, Sonora, Mexico manufacturing facility. The company has recently added a Surface Treatment/Passivation process to its repertoire of services in order to meet the growing needs of its expanding aerospace manufacturing in Mexico client base.
In response to the company's achievement, Scott Livingston, President and CEO of Horst Engineering, stated that "Nadcap accreditation is a tribute to the hard work and commitment to quality and customer service of our Guaymas, Sonora team."
He also went on to note that "Operating a manufacturing facility in Mexico under the auspices of The Offshore Group's Mexico Shelter Plan facilitated our pursuit of this accreditation by freeing us from concerns related to non-core functions, and enabling us to focus on our manufacturing processes and their quality, as well as on the expansion and refinement of the services that we deliver to companies in Mexico's growing aerospace industry."
Joseph Pinto, Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at the Performance Review Institute, the not-for-profit organization that administers the Nadcap, observed that "Achieving Nadcap accreditation is no small feat. Having this recognition enables companies in the aerospace supply chain to readily identify manufacturers capable of delivering superior special processes. Horst Engineering de Mexico is now firmly ensconced in the ranks of the companies that deserve and enjoy this significant recognition."
