Guide by Cell Provides Text Message Voting Technology at 2011 National Conference on Philanthropic Planning

The conference in San Antonio, Texas, included lectures, how-to sessions, research and interactive presentations geared toward charitable giving professionals.

Attendees at a professional ethics session used Guide by Cell's text messaging platform to give their input on a variety of ethical scenarios. After being presented with a situation and possible responses, attendees of all ages used their mobile phones to text the corresponding number (1, 2, 3, 4, etc.) to vote for their answer.
