SAN FRANCISCO, CA, November 07, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Leading mobile technology service provider Guide by Cell has added two industry veterans to their San Francisco offices to head the company's sales and engineering departments.
Vice President of Engineering David Chen is spearheading development of a new suite of mobile technology products, including location services, QR codes, augmented reality services, and integration with Google Wallet and mobile payments. He is an experienced software developer and programmer who has worked with engineering teams in Canada, China and the United States. Prior to working with Guide by Cell, he spent ten years with First Media Group, Inc. in Toronto as Senior Software Developer. David earned his B.S. in computer science from Shenyang University of Technology.
Vice President of Sales David Chin is working to bring Guide by Cell's suite of services to new national and global markets, including mobile training and learning, auctions and mobile bidding, and interactive voting systems via SMS platform. He is a senior sales, marketing and management professional in the computer equipment and technology services industry having 25 years experience. Prior to working with Guide by Cell, David was Head of Business Development for Dubai Silicon Oasis, a governmental initiative to develop another Silicon Valley in Dubai. David obtained his biochemistry degree at the University of California, San Diego.
The new Vice President positions are part of recent company growth at Guide by Cell, which also includes six new sales consultants in the San Francisco office and recent mobile technology partnerships with the South Carolina Federation of Museums, the Association of Performing Arts Partners and the Washington State Museum Association.
