SmartScrubs partnered with local radio Star 94.1 and AJ's Kids Crane to collect toys and donations for the children of Rady's Childrens Hospital in San Diego. At the Grand Opening of their new San Marcos Store on November 4, SmartScrubs collected over 30 toys and presented AJ's Kids Crane with a $500 donation. Sue Callaway, RN, founder of the S.C.R.U.B.S. brand, was thrilled to take part in this community event. Callaway began sewing and distributing S.C.R.U.B.S. while working at Rady's in the early 90s.
