EAU CLAIRE, WI, November 15, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Realityworks, Inc. will showcase its experiential learning programs at the Association of Career and Technical Education (ACTE) annual convention and career tech expo. Realityworks' products will be presented in several sessions and displayed in booth 1121 on Nov. 17-18 at the Americas Center in St. Louis. ACTE's conference brings together over 4,000 teachers and administrators involved in Career and Technical Education.
The brand new RealCareer Welding Program will be one of the programs featured at ACTE. It offers hands-on learning of basic welding form in a simulation environment. The simulation allows students to practice specific weld designs and work on many different welding techniques before they even hit the shop floor. The program comes with Teach Weld curriculum, welding tools and online simulation software.
The award-winning RealCareer Business Education Simulations will also be showcased - it's designed for high school and post-secondary students to help them apply key business concepts taught in class. The Business Education Simulations provide an online simulation experience, and test the students' knowledge of business concepts within the daily operations of a business.
In addition, Realityworks will display their evidence-based RealCare Baby Program, which incorporates a computerized infant simulator with curricula to teach child development, parenting and teen pregnancy prevention. Additional RealCare infant simulators to be featured include those for education on Shaken Baby Syndrome, Prenatal Drug Exposure, and Prenatal Alcohol Exposure - as well as simulators for teaching CPR, infant choking emergency procedures and caring for babies with special needs.
"Exhibiting and presenting at the ACTE annual conference is a great opportunity for us to demonstrate our experiential learning technology programs to educators from around the country," says Timmothy Boettcher, president of Realityworks, Inc.
