The annual race around Chiang Mai City will be taking place on Christmas Day this year, allowing participants to tour the city on foot in a 42 km marathon that begins and ends at the Three Kings Monument.
Travelling by the underground ancient city of Wiang Koom Kam and through the Royalflora Expo, racers will be able to compete for cash prizes of up to 5,000 baht (GBP102.60), as well as T-shirts and medals for all who finish.

The main race starts at 04:00 local time, with the subsidiary races commencing at hour intervals thereafter.
