Edgar De Leon is a founding partner of De Leon and Associates, which practices in the areas of criminal defense, matrimonial and family law, real estate transactions, and bankruptcy. Before opening his private law practice, De Leon worked as a detective-sergeant and an attorney for the New York City Police Department, investigating bias-motivated incidents and allegations of corruption and serious misconduct. He is a recipient of the Borough of Manhattan Community College's Latino Honor Society Award, a former president of the Puerto Rican Bar Association, and a legal analyst and frequent guest on Court TV. De Leon is a graduate of Hunter College and the Fordham University School of Law.
