Nine respondents indicated they wanted a car for Christmas, including one individual who asked for a Ferrari 458 Italia.
Adam Thompson, owner of SmartGiftShopper.com relates that "while reading through and categorizing the survey responses, we felt a bit like Santa Claus. It was touching to read the more personal notes from individuals who were hoping for a holiday with friends and family."
The survey was a one-question, free-form response survey that 512 individuals responded to. Only individuals living within the United States were allowed to respond to the survey. Survey takers typed their own responses, which were then categorized and totaled by SmartGiftShopper.com.
