MIAMI, FL, December 01, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The seminal event in the Homeland Security Professionals calendar, SSI's Annual Conference is moving from Vegas to the Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center in Orlando, FL; and it will be held for the very first time over 3 instead of 5 full days. On November 5th - 7th, about 250 of the most important people in Homeland Security are expected to attend the event. Although shorter, the high quality educational conference will have more speakers and more information than ever before. An early sellout for the 250 maximum participants is expected as usual. About 20 to 30 of the most advanced technology providers are expected to support the conference through the Product Expo, displaying all the new technology products for increasing security. Cost of attending the conference is only $399.00. Those registering before December 31st - 2011 will receive valuable incentives from SSI.
SSI publishes the nationally-read "The Counter Terrorist Magazine" (www.thecounterterroristmag.com) that is the Host of the Conference - and a very well-known Florida agency will also endorse the program for Sheriffs and Police departments nationwide.
"We are proud, as Floridians, to bring back the Annual Conference to Florida," states Henry Morgenstern, President of SSI. "We are also excited about this year's conference and its subject which is the partnership between private industry and the public sector First Responder that can help both increase security at national infrastructure, venues and stadiums, and covers many more subjects like terrorist finance, gangs, and even hotel security."
Speakers from all over the world, with global reputations, are coming in to deliver a message of close coordination between the public, the public sector and private industry to combat increasing threats from terrorists to sovereign citizen's movements or gangs and Mexican drug cartels. In typical SSI style, the conference will contain only hands-on professionals and not academic speakers that can provide the private security professionals, Police and First Responders, the information they need.
