/24-7PressRelease/ - February 27, 2007 - ADVANTECH AMT, Inc, today announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, ADVANTECH Satellite Networks Inc, has sold a DVB-RCS system consisting of a hub and VSAT indoor units to NATO C3 Agency. The system will be used for evaluation purposes.
Don Osborne, president, ADVANTECH Satellite Networks, said, "We are pleased that yet another military organization is showing interest in the DVB-RCS standard. ADVANTECH is a leader in the DVB-RCS market, and we will continue to pursue opportunities to provide open-standard, broadband solutions to defense customers." ADVANTECH Satellite Networks won its first defense-related contract award in Q3 2005 to equip the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) with a DVB-RCS system.
