BOULDER, CO, December 08, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Leading financial training company Stratactics has announced that its premier training program, The Stratactics Game, will be offered as a one-day seminar at the University of Denver's Women's College / ABLE Center for Women on December 13th, from 8 am to 5 pm.
According to the US Small Business Administration, women own 7.6 million (about one third) of all US companies. Demonstrating the importance of supporting women as entrepreneurs, Stratactics and the Women's College have partnered to offer this interactive training program. The seminar teaches critical business concepts every business owner needs to understand to successfully run a company. The program is open to the public.
The all-day seminar addresses the age-old, million-dollar question: "How do my choices and actions affect my company's strategic and financial objectives?" Participants will be shown a comprehensive and practical approach to the fundamentals of finance, accounting, and financial analysis. The Stratactics Game's fun, hands-on activity based learning style turns knowledge into informed, on-the-job actions.
"We are very excited and honored to be pairing up with ABLE and University of Denver's Women's College," states Stratactics CEO Darrell Mullis. "Women as business owners face many unique challenges. As business owners, they are already experts in their field. With our class, they will learn how to recognize the top challenges for their organization in the market place, and take that knowledge to create positive trends for their company's bottom line."
Registrations are now being accepted for the seminar with group discounts available for companies sending more than one employee. In addition to owners, women in C-level executive roles such as CEO, COO, CMO, VP Marketing and Sales are encouraged to attend. To register for the Stratactics Game Seminar, contact Barbara Bauer, via email at [email protected] or by calling 1.303.871.6836.
Stratactics works with customers to provide customized, cutting edge training programs that improve communication, decision-making, and performance at every level of the organization. The company's programs help organizations develop leadership from top to bottom by addressing three of the most critical areas of leadership capability--accountability, financial literacy and risk management--three pillars of big picture thinking and action.
